چکیده
This paper studies the problem of deciding on absence (i.e., null hypothesis, H0) or presence alternative H1) an unknown signal embedded in received a multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) receiver, employing 1-bit quantization. The originality our solution lies quantizing by adapted window comparator, rather than traditional quantizer. enables us to divide space observed binary sequences into two typical sets (w.r.t. distribution no. 1's sequence) asymptotically, where first set corresponds H0 and second H1. As result, we reduce detection determining highly probable for sequence. Thus, very low-complexity hypothesis detector is proposed its probability given. To show high efficacy receiver structure, consider wireless applications; jamming massive MIMO system, probing non-stationary low-power transmitter sensor network (WSN), assuming Rayleigh-fading channels. Compared with unquantized system chi-square test, it shown that performance loss can be roughly as large 10% this gap diminishes sequence length or/and power increases. For WSN, compared becomes smaller when observation interval extended over few symbols.

Reconsidering Linear Transmit Signal Processing in 1-Bit Quantized Multi-User MISO Systems
In this contribution, we investigate a coarsely quantized Multi-User (MU)-Multiple Input Single Output (MISO) downlink communication system, where we assume 1-Bit Digitalto-Analog Converters (DACs) at the Base Station (BS) antennas. First, we analyze the achievable sum rate lower-bound using the Bussgang decomposition. In the presence of the non-linear quantization, our analysis indicates the p...

Bit-interleaved coded modulation with iterative detection for MIMO systems demands an efficient APP detector that delivers soft information about the coded bits. The list-sequential detector is a reduced-complexity approximation to an exhaustive APP detector. It uses a tree search employing the stack algorithm to find dominant terms of the log-likelihood ratio. The commonly used symbol-by-symbo...
متن کاملHybrid Precoder and Combiner Design with One-Bit Quantized Phase Shifters in mmWave MIMO Systems
Analog/digital hybrid precoder and combiner have been widely used in millimeter wave (mmWave) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems due to its energy-efficient and economic superiorities. Infinite resolution of phase shifters (PSs) for the analog beamformer can achieve very close performance compared to the full-digital scheme but will result in high complexity and intensive power consu...
متن کاملMassive MIMO with 1-bit ADC
We investigate massive multiple-input-multipleoutput (MIMO) uplink systems with 1-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) on each receiver antenna. Receivers that rely on 1-bit ADC do not need energy-consuming interfaces such as automatic gain control (AGC). This decreases both ADC building and operational costs. Our design is based on maximal ratio combining (MRC), zero-forcing (ZF), and least...
متن کاملStudy of Iterative Detection and Decoding for Large-Scale MIMO Systems with 1-Bit ADCs
We present a novel iterative detection and decoding scheme for uplink large-scale multiuser multiple-antenna systems. In order to reduce the receiver’s energy consumption and computational complexity, 1-bit analog-to-digital converters are used in the front-end. The performance loss due to the 1-bit quantization can be mitigated by using large-scale antenna arrays. We propose a linear low-resol...
